Welcome to CIRED Workshop 2010

A major concern for the Distribution Network Operators (DNO’s) is to secure a sustainable financing of the investments keeping the distribution infrastructure in state of addressing the today’s and future needs of the electricity market.  This workshop is a unique opportunity to revisit the Asset Management and Financing strategies in the perspective of the new possibilities offered by the Smart Grids, Network Active management and Demand Response initiatives but also in the context of the economical crisis.

About CIRED

CIRED, the Leading Forum where the Electricity Distribution Community meets, holds the major International Electricity Conference & Exhibition every two years in different venues in Europe with a worldwide perspective and participation.
CIRED works for the purpose of increasing the business relevant competencies, skills and knowledge of those who see themselves as a part of the electricity distribution community, whether they are from the utility, product, consultancy, service, business or Academic sector.
The 2011 conference will take place in Frankfurt on 6-9 June 2011.
